Breakfast and brunch in Flagler County

Diners, pancake houses, bagel shops and brunch spots across Palm Coast and Flagler Beach, with their inspection records.

Flagler wakes up early

Fishermen, surfers, golfers and retirees all agree on one thing: breakfast is the best meal in Flagler County. Diners and pancake houses fill up by 8 a.m. on weekends, bagel shops sell out of everything bagels, and a sunrise walk on the beach practically requires a plate of eggs afterward.

Breakfast kitchens handle a lot of eggs, dairy and cut fruit, all of which need to stay cold until they hit the griddle. Common findings here involve cold holding on the line and date-marking of opened milk and prepped items.
