From takeout to omakase
Flagler County has a steady lineup of Asian restaurants: classic Chinese takeout counters, all-you-can-eat buffets, sushi bars with long specialty-roll menus, hibachi grills, and a few Thai and Vietnamese kitchens. Most are in Palm Coast, with a couple near the beach.
Sushi and buffets have their own inspection challenges. Raw fish must be held cold and come from approved sources, sushi rice is often held at room temperature under a strict time-control plan, and buffet lines must keep hot food hot and cold food cold for hours at a time. Look for findings about temperature and time controls when reading these records.
